TTN and Sons, a tremendous group of Educational Institution is managed by the philanthropist Er. Lawrence. His parents Mr. Thomas and Mrs. Thommaiammal have inculcated in him the spirit of social service right from his childhood days. As he grew, this tendency grew along with him. Born with a silver spoon and having done his Engineering, he has established himself as a tycoon in the world of business. His generosity knows no pounds when it comes to helping the needy. His wife Mrs. Helen Lawrence who is also into helping the poor, played an active role in directing him towards educating and emancipating the downtrodden women. Thus, he started establishing education institutions with his brother Mr. Stanley as Trustee and Bursar to fulfill the desires of both his parents and wife. The glorious beginning of Maria Arts and Science College for women is a mile stone in his contribution towards the welfare of women. His aspirations to serve this society has been fulfilled with institutions he has sowed in this society. Through these institutions, he can do good for this society. With this initiative, these educational institutions such as Hi-Tech Polytechnic College, Nehru Nursing College for Women and Maria Arts and Science College for Women which is situated in the heart of Vallioor, Radhapuram Taluk, Affiliated to Manonmaniam Sundaranar University.
